2(X)IST in The New York Times Thursday Styles May 2013

The New York Times dives into the new marketing strategies of High-Fashion Underwear labels, and highlights 2(X)IST for moving in a direction that is "more aloof" and "not so intimidating." The article, written by longtime, revered Times' staffer Eric Wilson, lists forthcoming projects, like the current 2XIST.COM editorials featuring former Danish Navy servicemember Lasse Hansen (in photos online by Mortiz & Co. and a pending behind-the-scenes video) and an additional short music video collaboration between 2(X)IST and Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, as representations of this shift.
"We are giving the models an identity, so they are not just a piece of meat," says James LaForce, whose fashion public relations powerhouse represents 2(X)IST.
